The subject "Blockchain Technologies and Applications" aims to provide basic practical knowledge in the field of the principles of functioning of blockchain networks and Distributed Ledger solutions. Basic concepts related to blockchain technology are examined, including blockchain cryptography, blockchain security, programming of smart contracts and blockchain applications.
The discipline is based on its predecessor disciplines: "Operating Systems", "Computer Networks", "Software Technologies", etc. The subject has initial connections with the diploma project.
