The discipline “Basic Mathematics” provides fundamental preparation for the students of the specialty "CST" at the Technical University - Varna. The aim is to develop students' mathematical knowledge and skills to create correct mathematical models and effective algorithms to solve practical problems in the field of computer engineering. The course is to give the students a good theoretical knowledge of the subject and to master the methods of solving problems from the above mentioned fields.
The laboratory classes introduce students to modern computer algebra systems, which are a powerful tool for solving scientific problems related to mathematical research.
