The principles of virtualization, types of virtual machines and hypervisors, solving a number of issues related to virtualization of processors, memory, input / output devices and networks are discussed. Modern virtualization environments are introduced, such as VMware, Microsoft Virtual Server, Xen and more. The course creates skills for installing, configuring, and maintaining VMware ESXi server virtualization.
The course is based on bachelor's degree courses: Computer Networks, Network administration, Internet Servers and Services.
